Don’t put away the bird feeders as it gets warmer. If you aren’t feeding the birds through the spring and summer months you are missing out on seeing some interesting birds that only visit in the warmer months. Some birds are here to raise their young, like the Northern Oriole, and some are passing through to still warmer places. The birds are also feeding their young during the late spring and summer and really appreciate a little fast food. When natural food is scarce, your feeder may help more baby birds survive.
